Fab Five ... week ending December 26, 2009

What an awesome week! It's hard to narrow down to just five things ... but I'll try!

1. THE SAVIOR!! I am in awe of this God who wrapped Himself in flesh and came to bring my salvation. ALL praise and honor and glory be to Him alone!! {And if you didn't your copy of The Places of Christmas, please feel free to download it here.}

2. MY HUSBAND!! Scott is the very best gift I'll ever receive on earth ... and he makes every day a joy! Thank you, Husband, for all you did and sacrificed to give Casiday and me an incredible Christmas! I love you ~ Wife.

3. MY CHILD!! Sweet Casiday, who gave me a beautiful necklace for Christmas; but, the best gift was watching her tenderly serve Communion to the residents at a nursing home on Christmas Eve morning. It is a picture that is forever etched into my heart. I am so proud of you, Pookadoo, and I thank God for letting me be your mommy!!

4. SAFE TRAVEL!! We opened presents early Christmas morning then piled into our car and headed to North Alabama to surprise Scott's family on Christmas. We spent 9-1/2 hours in the car ... light traffic, good company, lots of laughter, and that (don't be jealous!) yummy Christmas lunch from Wendy's! The looks on everyone's faces made it all worth it!

5. FAMILY & FRIENDS!! We are blessed to have incredible people in our lives ... family and friends who make the holidays sparkle even more and make every day wonderful. It is a great honor to be dearly loved by so many and to love deeply each of them for their special part in our lives.

And so, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and that your holiday was filled with good company, yummy food, and the blessed peace of Christ!

P.S. I did get my cool Pulse Smartpen from Scott ... so be ready for "pencasts" to begin sometime in 2010!! You'll want to subscribe now to Pleasing to You and make sure you don't miss any of the exciting things coming in the year ahead!!

Merry Christmas, friend. I was again offline most of the week, again so I did not get a chance to properly wish you a Happy Holiday. Okay. Totally excited about the pen. I cant wait to see how it works!!!!
